What the Hour Looks Like

It isn't a sales appointment. It's an hour of design help.

Most people don't know this is something we offer, so here's exactly what happens from the moment you book.

  1. Before you arrive

    Your designer pulls samples

You tell us the room and roughly what you're drawn to. We pull stone, tile, and flooring ahead of time so you walk into a set of ideas instead of a blank showroom.

  2. First fifteen minutes

We talk about the space, not the products

What's staying, what's going, how the room actually gets used, and what's been bothering you about it. Our designers ask a lot of questions — that's the part that makes everything after it work.

  3. The middle stretch

    We walk the showroom together

Full kitchen, bath, and bar vignettes, plus specialty departments for lighting, plumbing, and flooring. You get to hold a quartz next to a backsplash tile next to the floor, under the same light. It's the only way to really know.

  4. Last fifteen minutes

We narrow it to two or three directions

Not forty options. You leave with samples to look at in your own kitchen at your own hour of day, and a written list of everything you saw so nothing gets lost.

  5. When you're ready

One package quote, and installers we trust

Countertops, tile, flooring, sinks, faucets, hardware — priced together as one project. For installation we hand you our referral list of contractors we've worked with for decades.

What You Leave With

More than a brochure.

01

Samples in hand

Stone, tile, and flooring to live with for a few days. Showroom lighting is not your lighting.

02

A short list

Two or three directions that work together, written down — material names, colors, finishes.

03

A path to one quote

When you're ready, your designer prices the whole package instead of making you chase six vendors.

04

Installers worth calling

Our referral list of hand-picked contractors who've installed our products to our standard for decades.

Before You Come In

Bring whatever you've got. None of it is required.

  • Photos of the room as it is todayPhone pictures are perfect. Wide shots help most.
  • Rough measurements, if you have themUseful for a ballpark. We can absolutely work without them.
  • Anything already chosenA cabinet door sample, paint chip, or faucet finish changes everything downstream.
  • Your saved photosPinterest, Houzz, a screenshot folder — we'd rather see it than hear it described.
  • Your contractor or builderGenuinely welcome. It usually saves a second trip.

Still in the "we're thinking about maybe redoing the kitchen" stage? That's a good time to come in, not too early. Knowing what things cost changes how you plan.

Questions People Ask First

Before you book.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. No fee, no deposit, no design retainer. Our designers are on staff, and helping you plan the space is how we'd rather earn the project.

Do I have to buy anything?

No. Plenty of people come in, take samples home, and come back weeks later — or don't. You're welcome either way, and the samples are yours to keep while you decide.

What if I don't know what I want yet?

That's the most common starting point, and it's a fine one. Bring photos of the room and a rough sense of what you don't like. Narrowing things down is the actual work of the appointment.

Do I need measurements?

Not to book. Rough numbers help us talk about ballpark cost, but you can walk in with nothing but phone photos and still get a lot out of the hour.

How long does it take?

Plan on about an hour. Bigger projects — a full kitchen plus baths, or a whole-home build — often run longer, and we'll block the time if you tell us up front.

Can I bring my contractor, builder, or designer?

Please do. It's much easier when everyone is looking at the same slab at the same time, and it usually saves a second trip.

Do you handle installation?

We supply the materials and refer installation to a hand-picked list of contractors we've worked alongside for decades and trust to install to our standard.

Can I just walk in instead?

Of course — the showroom is open to walk-ins during business hours. Booking ahead just means a designer is expecting you, with samples for your project already pulled.
